Baahubali 2: The Conclusion became the first Indian film to cross 1500 crores worldwide.
It became the first South film to cross 400 crores in its dubbed Hindi version. It’s the biggest hit so far in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and its native Telugu cinema. It has broken previous records of films starring superstars like Rajinikanth, Mohanlal and Aamir Khan. And mind you, it has yet to release in China and Taiwan, where Aamir Khan’s Dangal is going through an unprecedented bull run. Trade pundits predict a similar sort of run, if not better, when it finally releases in the Chinese market. The producers are currently showcasing it at Cannes in a bid to attract more buyers.
