NOTORIOUS gangster Al Capone’s prized pistol — and letters he penned to his only child, Sonny, while holed up in Alcatraz — are being put on the block by the ruthless racketeer’s surviving granddaughters!

California-based auctioneer Witherell is slated to sell the Prohibition-era bootlegger’s stash on Oct. 8 and says the cache includes Capone’s “favorite” Colt .45, a platinum pocket watch encrusted with 90 diamonds and a monogrammed pocketknife.
