If there’s one thing we can guarantee we’ll get from a Beckham holiday (apart from knowing it costs serious amounts of cash), is that they will then bombard us with shots of themselves looking like the perfect family. And during their latest trip to Croatia, they didn’t disappoint, with all of them posting on Instagram – except Harper, as she’s only seven – to show us what a fantastic time they were having. They enjoyed boat trips, sunbathing and playing around on the obligatory inflatables, generally seeming to be having a ball – but behind closed doors, we’re told it’s a different story. After a tough 18 months for David and Victoria, our insider says things are still difficult as they battle the pressures of juggling work commitments and family life, as well as making time for each other as a couple.
