J-Law has made her feelings about feminism and equality clear, and when it comes to body shaming she’s ready to shout about it

'I Won't Go Hungry To Make People Happy'

Having walked out of 2016 as the world’s highest paid female actress for the second year running, worth a staggering £36.2 million, there’s no stopping Jennifer Lawrence.

Whether it’s on or off screen, the 26-year-old actress – who most recently starred in Passengers and is currently filming Russian spy thriller Red Sparrow, to be released in November – has never lacked body confidence. It’s something that’s no doubt caught the eye of J-Law’s string of admirers, including her new beau, director Darren Aronofsky, who’s 21 years older than her. The pair went public with their relationship in November following rumours that they were secretly hooking up.

An insider tells Look: ‘Jennifer has changed a lot since she started dating Darren. She’s crazy about him and is trying to put forward a classier image. She feels like she’s landed her dream guy. She’s making a big effort with him and thanks to her recent filming preparation she’s in better shape than ever. She’s feeling more confident about herself and therefore her relationship these days.’

But while Jen’s remained tight-lipped about her relationship, she’s been more vocal about her new body – especially when it comes to putting body-haters in their place. ‘If anybody even tries to whisper the word “diet”, I’m like: “You can go f**k yourself,”’ she’s confessed.
