Wild orgies! Illegal drugs! Rivers of booze! Hooker parties! Those are just a few of the hidden secrets from the legendary Playboy Mansion.

Uh-huh, the covers have been pulled back on the no-holds barred antics that went on behind closed doors at Hugh Hefner’s California compound.

“The Playboy Mansion was synonymous with lurid fantasy, A-list celebrity parties and wild debauchery,” says a pal of the late pipe-smoking publisher. “Hef ruled over it like a sexual king who had the most beautiful, young, willing women at the snap of a finger!”

The site of the famous party house sits on a 2.1-hectare estate in Holmby Hills, California. Hef paid $1.5 million for the property back in 1971, and immediately set about building the iconic mansion.

Within two years, he’d completed his Shangri-La, and over the next four decades turned the Playboy Mansion into a Disneyland for adults, where every hedonistic pleasure was within reach.

Hef had over 1000 sexual conquests

The original Playboy was once asked how many women he’d bedded.

“How could I possibly know? Over a thousand, I’m sure,” Hugh said. “There were chunks in my life when I was married, and when I was married, I never cheated. But I made up for it when I wasn’t married.”

His girls had to wear pink flannel pyjamas

Former Playmate Jill Ann Spaulding writes in her book Jill Ann: Upstairs, “On sex night you go upstairs and the girls that are brand new, or the girls who don’t have their own room yet, have to take a bath.

“That’s a requirement. You also have to put on a certain pair of pink pyjamas... They tell you to put them on, even though you take them offas soon as you enter Hef’s room.”
