The curtain may have come down on Meghan Markle’s time as a working royal, but we definitely haven’t seen her final public act! Yep, Hollywood’s come calling for the actress once more – with none other than Tom Cruise setting his sights on casting the Duchess of Sussex in his next cinematic project.

“Tom’s seen what she can do and reckons the camera loves her,” a source close to the actor, 57, tells NW.

With Meghan already in talks to do voice overs for Disney, it wouldn’t be a surprise to anyone if she accepts Tom’s offer.

“What better way to get back on the big screen,” the insider adds, “than by starring opposite one of the world’s biggest stars?” But it seems giving Meghan’s acting career a boost isn’t the only thing Tom’s got in mind, with whispers emerging that the action star has an ulterior motive – recruiting her to Scientology!
