Billie ‘Lots of famous people are damaged'

The actress opens up about the dark side of celebrity life

She’s been in the public eye for more than two decades, but I Hate Suzie star Billie Piper claims being famous isn’t all it’s cracked up to be – and says celebrity life can have an unhealthy impact on your relationships.

“A party which is full of famous people is quite often just a room of very damaged people,” she said. “I don’t know if I could maybe list one person I’ve met in our industries who has it down – has the balance, is chilled, has a healthy relationship with themselves and the people around them.”

However, now showbiz bashes have been put on hold because of the pandemic, Billie admits she misses living it up with large groups of people.
