Age creeps up on us all, whether it’s developing your first frown lines or noticing your knees are creaking a little louder every year.
There’s nothing you can do about your chronological age, which is your actual age in years. But – and here’s the good news – you really can turn back time on your biological age, which is determined by the health of your cells, organs and blood.
And a study in the medical journal Aging found that just a few diet and lifestyle tweaks have the power to reduce our biological age by three years in a mere eight weeks!
“Biological age is very dependent on lifestyle but by making some changes to your sleep, exercise and diet, it’s possible to make your body years younger,” says wellness guru and nutrition expert Penny Weston (welcometomade.com).
