She’s the bubbly comedian who’s been having a ball this year on Loose Women. And now Judi Love is back on our screens with a brand new panel show, bringing laughs along with enlightenment.
As part of Black History Month, Judi has teamed up with Jimmy Akingbola and Chizzy Akudolu for Sorry, I Didn’t Know, a show that tests the general knowledge of some of our fave comedians, as well as unveiling interesting black history facts along the way. It’s a whole lot of fun – but then, we’d expect nothing less from the ray of sunshine that is Ms Love. Here, she tells us all about it…
Hi Judi! So, what can we expect from the show?
We made a pilot four years ago and now it’s come back as a series, which is absolutely fabulous. Jimmy Akingbola (from Holby City and Kate & Koji) is hosting and he’s amazing. He’s lovely and looks gorgeous in his suit, I tell ya! And Chizzy Akudolu and I are the team captains. There is a lot about black history that people didn’t know. You hear a lot about the trauma of what’s happened in black history, but here we look at things like black inventors and award winners. It’s showing how other people have paved the way for us.
