Is This the Holiday Where Harry Pops the Question?

Prince Harry heaped praise on his beloved Africa earlier this year. ‘I am incredibly fortunate to be able to call it my second home.’ What we didn’t know when he uttered those words was that the redheaded royal was busy planning a proposal to girlfriend Meghan Markle while vacaying there!

‘Harry has been planning this holiday for a long time,’ a friend of the prince reveals, after the pair touched down in Botswana to celebrate Meghan’s 36th birthday on August 4 – incidentally, the day it has been persistently rumoured that Harry would pop the question.

Getting down on one knee would only be the start of it. ‘He’s made the trip incredibly romantic,’ says a source. ‘They’ll go on boats across the lake, walking in the bush at dawn and camp under the stars… Obviously he wants to show Meghan what an amazing place it is and create new memories together.’
