THE CROWN STAR CLAIRE FOY OPENS UP ABOUT THE STRUGGLES OF BEING A WORKING MOTHER AS SHE TOPS THE BILL AT THE HARPER’S BAZAAR WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS

Last week, The Crown star Claire Foy was among the famous faces celebrating on the black carpet at Claridge’s hotel in London for the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards.

But in an interview with the magazine, the in-demand actress candidly opened up about the demands of juggling her hectic career with raising her six-year-old daughter Ivy, who she shares with exhusband, actor Stephen Campbell Moore.

“The industry itself is fundamentally flawed,” she said. “You’re working 14 to 16 hour days. One person always has to be at home, and that is conventionally the woman. It feels like in our society, there is this thing where everything falls on the woman. The guilt of it. The burden of it. It all seems too much.”
