At first glance, Olivia ‘Liv’ Bentley perfectly fits the posh West London stereotype, but you only have to hear her to realise her quick wit and potty mouth make her stand out from the champagne-sipping crowd.

Liv doesn’t just rely on her social following or her Made In Chelsea fame either – she’s a talented photographer who specialises in arty nude portraits.

By her own admission, Liv isn’t a girly girl, though her peroxide locks and glamorous bikini snaps on Instagram might make you think otherwise.

But beneath her blonde tresses lies a secret – one that Liv is now ready to talk about. The 24-year-old has been suffering from the hair loss condition alopecia for nearly a decade and turns to wigs to get the lengths her teenage self longed for.

Now, in a new collaboration with hair thinning experts Nioxin, Liv shares her battle with the condition…

You’ve only recently started to talk about your hair loss. When did it begin?

I was 16 and on holiday. I’d just got out of the shower and I was brushing my hair and I saw a patch the size of a two pence coin was missing on the side of my head. I assumed I’d just brushed it too hard or something but it didn’t grow back.

That must have been tough at 16…
