“Angie has hardly any strength as it is, and the tantrum she threw over Brad’s new woman pushed her over the edge,” claims an insider. “She was ranting one minute, and then the next she just sort of crumpled.” Angie, 42, who revealed last year that she began suffering from hypertension around the same time things got “difficult” with her marriage, “blamed her collapse on her blood pressure,” adds the source. “Her friends were too scared to tell her it may have been because she’s been starving herself, and that something scary like this was bound to happen sooner or later.”
