THE ACTRESS OPENS UP ABOUT HER TWO NEW ROLES – AS THE EVIL DISNEY VILLAIN AND A FIRST-TIME MUM!

Emma Stone has “baby brain”, adorably muddling her thoughts when WHO talks to her about her deliciously devilish role in Cruella – a Disney live-action origin story about how the villainous Cruella de Vil first begets her hatred of dalmatians. “Sorry, I haven’t slept!” laughs Stone, 32, who became a first-time mum on March 13 when she and hubby Dave McCary, 35, welcomed a baby girl.

The couple first met in 2016 when she was a guest on Saturday Night Live, where McCary works as a writer and segment producer. While the couple announced their engagement on social media in December 2019 with a cute photo of a beaming Stone showing off her huge rock, the pair kept their marriage late last year a secret.

One of the most beloved and versatile actresses in Hollywood, Stone won audiences’ hearts with her roles in The Help, The Favourite, Battle of the Sexes and Birdman. But her Best Actress Oscar win for La La Land in 2017 really cemented her reputation as one of the most talented actors of her generation.

Speaking today from a hotel (so we don’t get a peek into her new mu life), Stone looks positively radiant, with her skin glowing and long strawberry blonde hair cascading in waves around her shoulders.

If Cruella sees her go head to head with Emma Thompson’s Baroness von Hellman, Estella “Cruella” de Vil’s nemesis, then it’s clear the two Emmas had a blast working together.
