Their marriage is over, but a new battle is just brewing

After almost seven years of marriage, four kids together and months of split rumours, Kim Kardashian finally filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West on February 19. Kardashian, a source tells WHO’s sister publication People magazine, has been “fair and generous” as well as “thoughtful” and “caring” amid her split from West, who has bipolar disorder.

“She’s worried about sending him into another tailspin, because that’s not good for anyone, especially the kids,” the source shares. “So she’s being as gentle as she can be, while still standing up for what she needs to.”

Priority, now, is the wellbeing of the pair’s four children, daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and 21-month-old Psalm. “She’s mostly worried about her privacy and kids,” a source tells E! News. “She’s a mama bear.”
