It’s certainly been a strange year for most of us, but somehow Michael B Jordan – who was named by WHO’s sister publication People the Sexiest Man Alive in 2020 – has only gotten hotter and happier. Six months after earning his sexy guy crown, the New Jersey-raised actor, 34, is reaching a new career milestone playing super-soldier John Clark in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse (streaming on Amazon Prime now). He’s following stars like Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and John Krasinski as the latest hero in the Jack Ryan universe.

“It felt good to give it a fresh take and breathe some fresh air into this project,” says Jordan, who also produced the film. “Modernise it a bit and make it a little more reflective of the world that we live in.”

Jordan, who co-stars with Jodie TurnerSmith, plays a Navy SEAL-turned-CIA agent hunting for a traitor. “We put together a movie and characters that people will really enjoy,” he says. “You want things you’re a part of to be successful, but you also just want them to be great projects.”

Jordan’s personal life is also thriving. “I’m extremely happy and in a great place,” he says of his new romance with model Lori Harvey, 24. Here, he talks about fame, films and the friends who lovingly tease him about his sexy title …
