HOW would you like to save some money on composts and mulch? It’s a no-brainer, as long as the results are as good. All you need do is sieve materials before you use them.

You see, most of us purchase these items in large plastic sacks, which come from big stacks of sacks moved around by the pallet load.

Stacking compresses the contents, which may also have soaked up water as they’re usually, and most wrongly, stood in the open air awaiting sale.
