OF all the rooms in a house, a bathroom is the space that offers the best opportunity for flights of fancy. ‘My clients wanted a master bathroom that exuded bygone Hollywood glamour,’ says the designer of his brief to transform this 19th-century London town house. ‘At the same time, the design had to feel timeless and work equally well for both master and mistress of the house.’
