IN A shattering deathbed confession, TV legend Jim Nabors admitted what he’d been denying for decades — he had a steamy affair with secretly gay screen hunk Rock Hudson that ended in a hush-hush Hawaiian commitment ceremony!

Jim, who played a goodhearted hayseed in The Andy Griffith Show and the popular spin-off Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., died at age 87 at his Honolulu home on Nov. 30, after a series of ailments left him in declining health.
