Tinseltown rejected Superman sexpot after booze, drug & mental meltdowns

SHUNNED by Hollywood and struggling to eke out a living, tormented Superman beauty Margot Kidder lost the will to live — and died alone on her couch in remote Livingston, Mont.

“Margot couldn’t go on, so she just let herself go,” a source tells GLOBE.

The 69-year-old actress’ body was discovered by a friend who stopped by to help clean her house on Mother’s Day. When the pal, who lawmen refused to identify, “went over to talk to her on the couch,” the friend “found her dead,” says a source.

While Margot’s autopsy results won’t be finished for several weeks, police say “foul play is not involved” in the death of the former beauty who portrayed Superman’s galpal Lois Lane and was once one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
