Eight Is Enough star rushed to hospital as feeding tube bursts after parade.

BLOOD was gushing from Eight Is Enough star Susan Richardson’s belly as she was rushed to the hospital for lifesaving treatment after her feeding tube exploded and severed a vein!

“I looked like I was SHOT,” says the 65-year-old, who played daughter Susan Bradford on the hit family drama. “The area around where my feeding tube is ruptured and I began to bleed uncontrollably.”

The dramatic medical crisis erupted when Susan returned to her home in a Coatesville, Pa., trailer park after serving as grand marshal in the local Independence Day parade.

“I had so much fun, but I may have overdid it,” she tells GLOBE.
