1 After Fox opted not to renew Lucifer, Netflix resurrected it for a 10-episode fourth season. But for a while even showrunner Joe Henderson didn’t think it would find a new home. “I didn’t, and here’s why,” he tells Red Alert. “I thought we were going to get picked up by Fox. When that didn’t happen, I felt like all my instincts went out the window. To be honest, what I felt was going to happen was we were going to find out just how amazing our fans were and get this wonderful send-off. In the beginning it was like, ‘Wow, the fans really do love the show. This is amazing. What a great curtain call, a great opportunity to say goodbye and honour what we made.’ Then, a couple of days in, it was like, ‘Oh...’”
