Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson star in a magical new Netflix comedy
Currently on the big screen trying to save the world in superhero movie Captain Marvel, Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson are fast becoming one of Hollywood’s most watchable double acts.
After first teaming up in monster movie Kong: Skull Island in 2017, the pair are on screen again this week in Netflix comedy Unicorn Store. The film is directed by Larson, who takes on the role of Kit, a unicorn-obsessed artist who’s kicked out of art school when her professors grow tired of her childlike paintings.
Moving back in with her hippie parents (Joan Cusack and Bradley Whitford), Kit starts receiving a series of magical letters that lead her to a place called the Store, where she meets the flamboyant Salesman (Jackson), who promises Kit her very own unicorn – as long as she carries out a few important tasks…
