It was a bumpy landing for Laurel when she arrived back from Australia to discover that Vanessa had been tied up to her kitchen cupboards for the best part of a fortnight. And this week, there’s more pandemonium for the put-upon parent when she’s forced to tell boyfriend Jai that it was her son, Arthur, who hurt his little lad, Archie.

Laurel learnt the truth several weeks ago, but with Jai in the thick of treatment for his cocaine relapse at the time, and she and the kids due to fly off for Sandy’s funeral, she opted to keep quiet and deal with the issue on her return.
