Revenge is a dish best served cold, so the saying goes, and Eva Price is about to put that to the test. After finding out that her fiancé, Aidan, has been having an affair with Maria – a cruel twist in a week that she also discovers she’s pregnant – the devastated knicker-stitcher sets out to destroy her duplicitous lover.

We caught up with stars Catherine Tyldesley, Shayne Ward and Samia Longchambon to ask what’s coming up, and to find out what they really think of their scheming alter-egos... Alison Slade

How does Aidan feel when he finds out Eva’s pregnant?

It’s terrifying for him, because he’s been telling Maria that he’s definitely going to end things with Eva. So it’s a massive spanner in the works, and he doesn’t know what to do.

What is the worst thing Eva can do to get revenge on him?

It would be if she did something to the business. He wants to build this enterprise and he has always wanted his dad to see him as the successor.

Which woman do you think he should he be with?

Mary! She would calm him down with her stories; she would be great. No, it’s an impossible question to answer. He just wishes that he could find somebody with both Eva and Maria’s qualities.

If you were Aidan’s friend, what advice would you give?

Oh, I would have clipped him round the ear a long time ago! I’d say, ‘Mate, it’s not worth it’. I’d tell him to stay single.
