Dust off your rhinestone-encrusted cowboy boots – Dolly Parton is about to save Christmas 2020 with her brand-new musical extravaganza for Netflix!

Boasting more festive cheer than you can shake a candy cane at, Dolly’s Christmas on the Square is inspired by the story of Scrooge. The queen of country music plays an angel (what else?!) who’s tasked with helping a cynical businesswoman, Regina Fuller (played by Mamma Mia! star Christine Baranski), realise the true meaning of Christmas.

After the death of her father, Regina returns to the town she was raised in, but she has no sentimental attachment to the place – in fact, she’s planning to evict the locals and sell the land to a developer who wants to build a shopping mall.
