There are two things in life that Nadiya Hussain is particularly fond of: food, and people.

So The Great British Bake Off champion is thrilled to be combining both things in her brand-new BBC1 series, Nadiya’s American Adventure, as she explores how immigration has changed the national menu in North America.

The two-parter follows Nadiya as she heads to the vibrant hubs of Louisiana and California – both areas where high concentrations of people from other countries have made their home.

Along the way, she meets people who are keeping their traditions alive through food, as well as those who have blended the recipes from their homelands with modern American cooking styles to produce a new way of eating.
