TV Times talks to cricket legend Freddie Flintoff about his new show – and tries a Cannonball challenge!

Freddie Flintoff hopes to make a big splash on Saturday night TV when he hosts an adrenaline-fuelled game show that’s full of fun and set at the most super-sized water park you’ve ever seen!

The former England cricketer will be watching on as the British public see how far and how fast they can fly through the air, before hitting the water in spectacular – and sometimes comical – fashion in ITV’s Cannonball.

‘The contestants are completely fearless,’ says Freddie, 39. ‘I used to be a bit of an adrenaline junkie, but now I’m a family man so I’m happy enough just watching. The more people I saw doing the challenges, the more content I was sitting on the sidelines with a cup of tea!’
