David Morrissey and Lesley Manville lead an all-star cast in Sherwood, a tale about a fractured community shattered by a pair of brutal murders.

The six-part series, partly inspired by real events, is set in the Nottinghamshire town of Ashfield, which still bears scars from the 1984 miners' strike.

Most of Ashfield's miners broke the strike and continued to work, yet Gary Jackson (Alun Armstrong) belonged to a union that joined the pickets.
