In 1952, at the age of 25, Princess Elizabeth came to the throne as Queen Elizabeth II. This week, the nation begins celebrating Her Majesty’s 70-year reign with street parties, a four-day weekend, and some very special programming – including live coverage of the Trooping of the Colour and a special EastEnders knees-up!
