She was once one of the most glamorous women in Hollywood thanks to enviable roles on hit TV shows such as Melrose Place and Dynasty. But Heather Locklear has had a devastating fall from grace, and it’s left friends and family holding grave fears for her wellbeing.

Last week, just a few months after she was arrested for allegedly hitting boyfriend Chris Heisser, the 56-year-old star was making headlines all over again. Heather was taken to hospital on June 17 for a psychiatric evaluation after her mother contacted authorities. She claimed the actress was behaving erratically and threatening self-harm.

Heather was said to be searching for a gun to shoot herself, and sources told TMZ she’d become violent, hitting her father and choking her mother, who managed to free herself and call the police.
