A journey through Hedi Slimane’s memories — and a look at the world through his eyes — would garner a rich yield of romantic, sentimental moments. “The remembrance of my years of Parisian nights, when I went from the Bains Douches to the Palace every night of my life. The smell of suede, of nicotine on a decadent amber patina, hair on the nape of the neck perfumed with vanilla scents,” pens the creative director of Celine by Hedi Slimane, about the story behind Nightclubbing, one of the maison’s eight new haute candle scents (two will be launched later this year).
