Say Yes to Love
Harry Winston is the name that has captured the hearts of generations of romantics, because of the American jeweller’s rich history and unwavering pursuit of flawless diamonds.
Renowned for crafting stunning gemstones that have celebrated many a great love story — such as the immaculate pear-shaped diamond presented to Elizabeth Taylor by Richard Burton, and the magnificent Lesotho III diamond engagement ring given to Jacqueline Kennedy by Aristotle Onassis — Harry Winston has come to be closely associated with the most exquisite of bridal jewels.
It all started in 1932, when a young and visionary jeweller named Harry Winston opened his first salon in New York City. He had a singular passion: diamonds. His obsession with finding and crafting the most exceptional stones quickly set him apart from his contemporaries. He saw each diamond as a unique masterpiece, deserving of the utmost care and attention. He was known to have said: “No two diamonds are alike. Each diamond has a different nature. Each diamond must be handled the way you handle a person.”
His relentless quest for perfection led him to acquire some of the world's most extraordinary diamonds, including the legendary 45.52-carat Hope Diamond. Winston believed that diamonds possessed the unique ability to capture the essence of love and make moments unforgettable. It was this belief that transformed Harry Winston from a jeweller into a legend, and ultimately, into the go-to House for engagement and wedding jewellery.
