Tattoos With Meaning For Women

What is a tattoo

A tattoo is a form of body modification in which a design is created by inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either indelible or temporary, into the dermis layer of the skin. While the above question is simple enough to answer, it leads us into various directions. First let us understand what are tattoos. Permanent markings in the skin made by way of ink or needles are called tattoos. Once ink is deposited into the second layer of the skin called the dermis, the wound scabs over and the skin heals to expose a design under the new layer. This practice is now an accepted form of body art.

Depending upon where you live, there may be certain age restrictions that may dictate the minimum age for getting a tattoo. Before one goes for a tattoo, one should check with a local shop for local laws or jurisdictions specifying these tattoo requirements. In most of the cases, you will have to be of 18 years of age or to have parental consent before you can go for a tattoo. You will also need time to select a tattoo, which conveys the meaning you wish to convey. Each tattoo carries its own story and meaning and therefore it deserves a bit of respect.

Types of tattoos and their meanings

While some people despise them, others swear by them. Some feel that a tattoo is a soulful custom of permanently inciting a theory of a certain symbol or belief. It is all about etching that idea onto their being. Tattoo lovers proclaim that tattoos are a holistic, spiritual, emotional, mental and physical experience, which is permanent at every level. Tattoos are an extremely personal thing and they may feel modern and trendy, they are much more than a mere shape or a symbol. This article is all about different tattoos along with their meanings. Given below are 20 tattoos along with their significance:

Modern day romance The hook up culture

A hook up culture is one of casual dating which may or may not lead to a long term commitment. Messaging and phoning is rampant and to hook up a few conversations gets you into physical intimacy and contact. Talk over a cup of tea makes for a date. Earlier couples used to merit company through the family social circle or a group of friends. Now with the internet boom, social media and Facebook, dating sites have taken over. The individual has become a commodity. A branded site or just an advertisement for various products does the trick. It has become a point of ridicule that dating comes on a mobile app, and true love has indeed become a shopper’s delight. A hook up syndrome has led to a cultural change; just swiping a card and you get a pretty girl to date.
