What does ‘having it all’ mean to you?

Knowing what’s important and having it in spades. For me, that means having a mission that inspires me, making a positive impact on the world, and being surrounded by people I love.

How do you attain work-life balance?

Time is our most valuable asset; I refuse to waste it. I set personal and professional goals, and hold myself to them. I also plan my schedule meticulously, so I’m clear about my priorities for each day, and able to spend each moment with intent. I have also learned not to feel guilty when saying no.

How do you dress for success?

I travel frequently and excercise daily, so I wear comfortable and flexible, yet tailored and feminine outfits that let me move freely and enable me to change quickly. I’m able to squeeze in a fitness class between meetings.

What gives you confidence?

I have been praticing Indian dance since I was three. Performing in front of live audiences and sharing my heritage with peers, friends, and colleagues taught me to be confident.

What role does the idea of equal representation play in your decision making?
