From an outsider’s perspective, running a business looks too easy. You just take “aesthetic” flat lay photos, post it on social media and create good packaging. What they don’t realize is the curation, content planning and research that goes into every post. Take it from Rhea Bue, a creative who started out as a vlogger more than 10 years ago— pre-Instagram—who used her platform to express herself, and eventually ventured into business with her passion. She’s also a social media manager for different brands on top of managing her own, and also manages her own YouTube channel that already has 2 million views and counting. But how does Bue do it? Aside from being one of the most effortlessly stylish influencers in the city, her content is relatable to everyone. Her videos such as “Staying Productive at Home” or “Budget Friendly Room Renovation,” despite their banal-seeming titles, are quality content that you love to see. Thriving in the digital world isn’t an easy task, but staying connected in the real world makes life a little less complicated.
