Milestones and celebrations aside, Maine Mendoza takes to the greater realities of life to teach us a thing or three about the modern laws of acceleration and motion in the most real and human sense.
If there is anything we have come to realize in this highly complex, multi-faceted and interdisciplinary world we live in, it is that it is almost impossible to draw a conclusion on just face value or scientifically, an assumption. This is why the canons of Physics, one that fundamentally governs the motions we take for granted, is made law. Veritable conclusions based on years and years of microscopic observations and tedious experiments are twisted, tossed and turned just to accept the veracity thereof. The subsequent validation merits these once-upon-a-time ideals, hypotheses and theoretical systems a place in the lifetime doctrines that the world moving forward will supposedly build on. While it is for the most part a work in progress, there are the essentials that remain at the epicenter, that being the Laws of Motion as developed by Sir Isaac Newton and further fortified by the genius himself, Albert Einstein with his Theory of Relativity.
Cracking open our dusty Physics textbooks, the first law of motion tells us that every motion in a state of uniform movement tends to remain, or well, persist, unless an external force is applied to it. Even then, Albert Einstein challenged and proved that no object is ever at rest; everything is relative.
No, this isn’t a thesis on the intricacies of motion in the modern world. Or, it can very well be, if we relate it to something we can all easily absorb or understand, like the human experience, for example. Following the wavelength of the scientific postulate turned into absolute truth, it can be said that no one ever remains the same as they claim or intend to be. To some arguable extent, one will have swerved, turned or careened out of a path laid out for them, taking to an uncharted territory that they in turn will have to navigate to course through to the end.
