Bold, Emotional & Oh So Stylish
Make sure I look good, especially for my fans. They are the ones we do this for … they will voice their opinions, let’s make me flawless,’ says Jacquline Wolper Massawe, 30, as the camera clicks away during the TRUE LOVE magazine shoot.

Jacquline easily brings a room to a you-can-hear-a-pin-drop silence when she walks in. No. Struts in. She’s tall, voluptuous and sexy, with a rosebud mouth and a style uniquely her own. No wonder the former Bongo movie star started her own fashion line. On most days, she wears clothes from her fashion label House of Stylish, accessorising them with bits and pieces she picks up from her travels, like the $400 fur coat she is wearing today.

The Nairobi weather has left her nursing a terrible cough and cold, and she even had to visit the hospital on two occasions, but she isn’t complaining: ‘I love the reception I have been getting in Nairobi and I am now planning on opening a store here – leave a little bit of “Wolper stylish” with my fans in Kenya,’ she says in reference to her newest venture and her Instagram handle, Wolperstylish.

Jacquline prefers a barely-there makeup look and is as minimalistic as possible where products are concerned.

‘If you have good skin like I do, why would you want to hide it under makeup? It’s not good for you at all. Do you know I have never plucked my eyebrows since I was born? I prefer to gently groom them with a brow brush and that’s it.’

She credits her mother for her natural take on makeup. ‘It is mostly the manner in which my mum raised me. I grew up being told I was beautiful wearing my hair short and my skin bare. I must say I was really pampered by my parents, particularly by my father.’
