She’s an 11-year-old CEO, entrepreneur and feminist STEM advocate. Meet Samaira Mehta and her vision for a trailblazing future in technology.
“You’re just a little girl. What would you know about coding?” A casual dismissal is what set Samaira Mehta on a mission to prove everyone wrong. And today, this ambitious 11-year-old is a Silicon Valley game-changer. An entrepreneur, inventor and motivational speaker, she has invented two board games, conducted over 150 workshops, turned down an offer from Google, and received a heart-warming letter from Michelle Obama. “If you keep working hard, you can change the course of your own life as well as the course of history,” the letter reads. And if her fiveand 10-year plans are anything to go by, this little girl is on the right path. Mehta means business when she declares that “coding is the future and STEM will revolutionise the world.”
