VIDUSHI MEHRA, who went from being the star of school productions to doing bit roles in films, is now a committed thespian with the sole aim of transforming Delhi into a pulsating city of theatre.
Were she to script her own biopic, actor Vidushi Mehra’s opening scene would envisage a flashback. “I’m old with wrinkles and grey hair, sitting by myself in a dark room,” she tells me in her sunlit apartment in the capital. “When the light comes on, what unfolds is all the magic in this woman’s life.” There’s a veritable pool of moments for Mehra to choose to tell the story of her life.
