WHAT an extraordinary time to be alive… so extraordinary that I’ve been inspired to put pen to paper and write this amazing profundity that you can pass off as your own – any time you like:
“For the first time, since the dawn of time, we have time to take our time.” It needs work, but thankfully I have time on my hands to give it the time it deserves – and then I’ll potter in the garden.
Gardening in a crisis might appear like rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic, but the benefit of being outdoors as the seasonal wheel turns is profoundly important. Every day fresh seedlings sprout, and the bees find new flowers to plunder, creating a present that’s more captivating than anything on TV.
