Dr. Surakshith Battina is the grandson of the Indigo Womens centre founder Sobhan Babu. Surakshith is specialised as cosmetic surgeon, endoscopic surgeon and fertility specialist. “We basically came from corporate sector and we previously worked for other hospitals. When we worked for other hospitals we understood how patient care is over there and when we started Indigo we wanted to change that scenario. The main motto of Indigo is ‘We’re an experience’ which means, to change the usual hospital atmosphere and we wanted our patient to feel that they are not patients. They should feel like they have entered a restaurant or hotel. This makes patients feel better and changing the notion of hospital atmosphere.” The interior of the hospital is very mind pleasing, the reception is furnished with couches and the consulting room interiors are exquisite with indigo colour wall designs.
