Even the concept of yoga, teachers of yoga, also change. Today we are hardly thinking about spirituality, God, etc. We are interested in all the material things. So the techniques in yoga that are helping in making the mind quiet, or peaceful, or inclined towards something higher does not appeal to us. We are interested in speed, hurry, things that can give us quick results. So yoga also has got slowly changed. In America, there are yoga systems that have those kinds of names such as “Fast Yoga”. So, generally, in the course of time, yoga would have a very different kind of appearance; something that appeals to the modern man and woman, not something ancient, something that is not deeply accepted. We talk about gaining quietness and peace, but in our fast world, we are not really interested in that. We want to move with the times.
