Headquartered in Nagold, Germany, the family owned and operated HÄFELE brand has long stood as a paragon of quality in furniture fittings. Since its founding in the year 1923, HÄFELE has grown to serve the greats of the furniture industry: architects, planners, and cabinet makers. With 37 subsidiaries spread out over 150 countries in 6 continents, HÄFELE has more than made a name for themselves, and today, have expanded beyond fittings into the realm of architectural hardware, as well as electronic access control systems. In an endless quest for assured quality and accountability, HÄFELE has sought out various certifications over the years. As of 1995, the brand has been certified under DIN EN ISO 9001, a certification related to the continual improvement, reduction of waste and increased concentration on important issues, product liability and safety, and monitoring of quality-related costs among other things. The brand has also continued to document its resource-conserving and environmentally conscious approach, and as such is certified as per ISO 14001.

Q How does HÄFELE work with the prospective client to pick the perfect system?
A: HÄFELE offers a 360"sš solution to home and commercial properties. The best solution cannot be made without knowing the lifestyle behaviour of the user, so it’s important to sit down and discuss this with the homeowner first. Does the homeowner cook a lot? How big is the family space? Does the homeowner like throwing house parties? All these factors play an important role in the final decision.
