WHO LIVES HERE?
Anna Crickmore and her husband Mark Winborn live here with their two children Rafferty, nine, and Ada, five. Anna is a florist and sells vintage pieces, and Mark is an IT consultant.
THE PROPERTY
Four-bedroom detached Georgian house in Suffolk.
1 “I love fun spaces that are imaginative and thoughtful”
The couple wanted this to be a joyful part of the house for spending time with friends and family, so they knocked down a wall between the kitchen and dining area to open it up, creating a spacious kitchen. The room will soon be completed with wood burner, to be installed in the inglenook. ‘We decided it was too low to put the cooker there!’ laughs Anna.

2 “The fire was our chance to make big changes”
The family wasn’t living in the house at the time of the fire, fortunately, as work had started on upgrading the heating system. However, many of their possessions were destroyed in the heartbreaking event. ‘We were determined not to let it define us. And in the end it meant we could do things we wouldn’t otherwise have been able to do straight away,’ says Anna. ‘We took the opportunity to open up more rooms and create the home we really wanted.‘
