Being an interior designer, the owner of this standout home was not afraid to play with design and texture. Although the palette of black, grey and white is fairly neutral, striking pops of colour and liberal use of patterns add panache.
The couple wanted a dramatic change from the masculine, clean lines of their previous home, so when building in a residential estate, situated in the south of Johannesburg, they opted for a design that was feminine and curvy.
“She is a diva in six-inch heels with a feather boa and lots of bling,” says the owner. Every aspect is custom-made and purpose-built.
