Norwegian defender, Kristoffer Ajer is ready to stake his claim at Celtic following his loan-spell at Kilmarnock.
HOOPS defender Kristoffer Ajer says he’s ready to fight for his place at Celtic next season, following the completion of his loan-spell with Kilmarnock.
Since joining the Rugby Park side in January, the 19-year-old has made 15 appearances and will return to Paradise at the end of the season having helped secure the Ayrshire club’s Premiership status for another year.
The Norwegian has only featured for Celtic’s first team on one occasion since joining the club last summer, but insists he is now ready to return and build on the vital experience he’s picked up from his time on loan at Kilmarnock.
Speaking exclusively to the Celtic View, Ajer said: “Going to Kilmarnock has been brilliant for me. I’ve played in all of the games since I’ve arrived and I’ve learned a lot. There are a lot of experienced players to learn from and I’ve only taken positives from my time there.
