The Oppo Reno series was recently updated with the pair of Reno 6 phones. Consisting of the Ren 6 and the Reno 6 Pro, the duo promises to pose a potent competitor in the market. Though both phones are 5G compatible, some differences set them apart. We got a chance to review the Oppo Reno 6 Pr 5G, and after spending a couple of weeks with it, here’s what we think:
First impressions: With a minimalistic yet sophisticated design, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro is sure to catch your eye and leave you wanting more. Its minimalism is attributed mainly to its backside, with no other element apart from a soft embossed Oppo logo and the camera module. The smartphone is offered in two colour options, including Aurora and Stellar Black. Though both colours look fascinating, the Aurora is slightly more glamorous, while the Stellar Black is quite stealthy. The phone has a metal frame along its sides that offer a reassuring grip while adding chrome. Its 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate is protected with Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The phone is accompanied by a charger, an earphone, and a USB Data cable, among other standard accessories. The charger is a 65W fast-charging unit that can juice up the phone entirely in a little more than half an hour. That, coupled with a 4500 mAh battery, ascertains the fact that this phone is a powerhouse.
