Following Jono Coleman’s sad passing on July 9 after a four-year cancer battle, TV executive Rob McKnight tells New Idea that the beloved star “was able to fit more into one lifetime than most of us”.

Jono and Rob became fast friends in 2013, when Rob, alongside producer Adam Boland, hired Jono to join Studio 10. As Rob reveals, loveable larrikin Jono, who launched his career on Simon Townsend’s Wonder World in his native England, was a mate to everyone in showbiz.
