They’re two of the country’s best-known stars, with careers spanning close to two decades, but New Idea is told tensions between TV darlings Delta Goodrem and Bec Hewitt are fast reaching boiling point!

While Delta is moving behind the camera, working on developing projects through her new company, Atled Productions, with her “long-time friends” at Nine, New Idea can reveal Bec, 37, is currently in talks to step back into the spotlight and outshine her TV opponent on rival network Channel Seven.

“They’re eyeing off Bec for her biggest role yet,” dishes our insider. “She’s lined up for a big comeback … she’s never been in such hot demand!”
